The Horse and His Boy, the fifth book in C.S. Lewis’s Chronicles of Narnia series in publication order (but third chronologically), is a standalone adventure set during the reign of the Pevensies in Narnia. It tells the story of Shasta, a boy raised in the land of Calormen, who escapes northward with a talking horse named Bree to flee a life of servitude.
